Only to find its aftermath. So he'd followed the trail of her and the other Senshi in an attempt to find out what was going on.
Which was how he wound up at the Kuno Mansion, staring at the wreckage that was there. He stepped through the hole in the wall, looking around for some sign of what had caused it. As he did so, he found something that caught his eye.
Embedded in a wall was a pretty girl in a leotard. Since he doubted that she was some sort of enemy with how he had found her, he assumed that she was some bystander who'd been caught up in whatever was going on. Feeling that it was the right thing to do, he walked over to the girl to check and make certain that she was okay.
"Hey," he asked as he pried her loose, "are you okay Miss?"
She groaned for a moment, and slowly opened her eyes to look at the masked man in the tuxedo. "What is going on? Who are you?"
"I am Tuxedo Kamen, and you've been pretty banged up, to put it lightly," he told her, cradling her in his arms.
"It was those cheerleaders..."
"I don't what you mean, but I need to get you to someplace safe so that you can recover."
"'Recover'?"
"But of course. Can't let such a pretty face be hurt like this and not fix it."
Her eyes widened as his casual compliment. Could it be that this dashing and heroic figure of a man thought such? "You think that I, Kodachi Kuno, am pretty?"
"Well, yeah."
Kodachi's mind ran with the information that he had just imparted. While her mind felt nearly clear for the first time in she didn't know how long, some things were just basically her. Here holding her was a wonderful measure of a man, one who knew how to dress, and to treat a lady. His looks would set many a schoolgirl's heart a flutter. And since Kodachi was a schoolgirl, she was no different.
She just demonstrated it differently. "Oh my knight in shinning armor!" she declared as she wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him, "You are so gallant!"
"EH?!"
She just snuggled into his chest without an answer, while:
