"Auntie.. Mother, should you be squeezing Ranma so tight?" Kasumi asked.
"Nonsense," came the reply, "My manwy widdle MAN wubs his mommy!"
"Gurgle."
"What an odd shade of blue," Nabiki commented while rinsing her toothbrush
in the kitchen sink.
In a sing song voice, Kasumi added, "My, this just won't do. Please put
Ranma down."
Scratching her head (while Ranma caughs violently), Nodoka simply said,
"oops, I guess I got a little carried away."
The entire exchange was either ignored by Soun, or he was asleep behind
the newspaper. Not a peep was heard from him, and his friend, Genma,
was long since scarce. Thus, it was up to Nabiki to get to the bottom
of things...
With a bored tone, Nabiki got straight to the point, "What is all of this?" Then, she looked over at the other two females in the kitchen with an expectant glare.
"Hmm," began Nodoka, "I was prepared to give up on my son's manliness, I mean here he was surrounded by such lovely ladies... And, nothing."
Hearing Ranma's loud gulping sound in the background, Nabiki pressed the Saotome Matriarch to continue.
"Then, young Kasumi here restored my faith in my MANLY son! Who would have thought he had a taste for ladies older than himself. I suppose that just proves how MANLY my Ranma is," Nodoka was glowing with pride.
Ranma, had the sense to look confused. "Yup," he thought, "they are all crazy. I'm crazy. This place is crazy. The Saotome School of Mixed Nuts."
Blinking, Nabiki asked, "Kasumi?"
"Hai?"
Nabiki didn't like that answer, "Hai what, dear sister?"
Fidgiting, Kasumi spoke using the excited girl amigurikan speach method (made famous by a particular heroine in another district of Tokyo), "WellYouSeeRanmaAndIDidITthisMorningSoRanmaIsMarryingMeAndWhoWouldaThoughtIt?"
Clunk. (The paper with Mr. Tendo behind it fell over, and it took Mr. Tendo with it, leaving a visible swirly in the air.)
Nabiki froze, mouth agape, and her finger pointing at Kasumi.
Ranma's first reaction was to deny it. "Damnit," he thought, "I didn't do anything with anybody!" However, his mouth wouldn't work due to how close he had came to the family blade. He quickly tried to summize his situation, "I didn't sleep with Kasumi, but she thinks we did. Because of this, Mom'll want me to marry her. Oh jeez, Akane will kill me. If Mom find out I didn't, she'll kill me because I'm not manly enough." Ranma made his conclusion, "Whatever I do, or don't do, I'm still dead."
Before Ranma could decide on what to do, a voice rang out, "RAAANNNMAAA!"
