Though it had to scrape something off its foot as it ran.
That something moved a few moments later. "Methinks the Blue Thunder shall just rest a bit."
After the contents of two buckets had been sloshed over the Blue Thunder, he roused himself. Everyone was staring at him. Wait! There were more of these unnatural beasts! "I shall smite!"
Click click Yuka held her assault rifle up to Kuno's head. "You keep lowering our chances of survival, and I'll scatter bits of your head from here to the river. I'm muddy, I'm cold, I'm hungry, and these dinosaurs scare the #$#! out of me. I don't like being scared, damnit!"
Kuno was nuts. He nonetheless knew what a gun was and estimated his chances of surviving being shot in the head at this distance. "O....kay."
"Drink more," advised Akane. "You got lost and got us all here because you got some of that alcohol in you. So you're going to get woozy again and get us out!"
"Yuppers," said Ryoga as he dropped the bottle. "We jush go thish a way!"
Akane glanced nervously back as she and everyone else followed Ryoga around the corner of the Visitor's Center. "Go away. Shoo! Stay!"
The triceratops, stegosauri, anklyosauri, and a few other dinosaurs continued to tag along. The triceratops were following the kind human, as they had come to associate Akane with the veternarians who had tended them. The various other herbivores were following pack migration instincts as something dangerous seemed to be looming in the air.
"The trees look different," said Yuka as she walked behind Ryoga, holding Sayuri's hand in one of her own. (The other held the assault rifle she'd found earlier.)
Holding one of Yuka's hands and holding Akane's hand in her other hand, Sayuri looked around. "I don't see that Visitor's Center anymore."
Akane rolled her eyes as the herd continued to follow her, occasionally grabbing a mouthful of tasty leaves and incidently making the little trail they were walking a lot bigger.
"Here we go," proclaimed Ryoga, stepping out into a valley with mists. "Sheee, I toldja I could do it. Your shafe now!"
"I know this place," said Akane but as this was pre-volume 38 didn't know about it first hand. "Ryoga you jerk! This is !"
