"Pardon me," said the werewolf as he nearly bumped into the staring woman. "Do you know where Lee Ho Phuek's is located in this district?"
Setsuna eyed the Chinese menu in his hands. "Le Ho Phuek's?"
"Heard they've got a great beef chow mein," replied the werewolf, licking his snout with an improbably long tongue.
"No, I'm afraid not," said Setsuna, glancing around. People DID give the werewolf a second glance, but there was absolutely no indication of panic. Merely curiosity and recognition?
"Sorry to bother you," said the werewolf with a duck of his shaggy head. "By the way, you might want to get indoors. Smells like it'll rain soon."
Setsuna blinked. Polite werewolves with British accents looking for Chinese takeout in the early morning hours?
She sat back down and began flipping through the book again. Five Senshi. Twelve Knights. Now werewolves?
"Get back here!"
Setsuna looked up at the shout to see passerby clearing a path as if they'd all done this before.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" said Ryoga Hibiki as he ran by.
Bounce bounce bounce bounce bounce bounce went a female skunk morph as she bounced along behind Ryoga. "Le mew. Le Meow. Le Rowr-rowr! Le Pursuite De Amour."
"Terrible tragic story," said an old man.
"Never struck me as terrible," answered another. "Think she'll ever find out that 'Pepe Le Pew' is not a tutorial on human mating practices?"
"Nah, too much fun watching her chase that guy all over Tokyo," said the first old man with a chuckle.
"WHAT was that?!" Setsuna asked.
The two old men turned to look at her. Finally the first one spoke.
