Parents And Children - Wild Dragons: Training [Episode 58496]

"You're overcommitting," Tarou said firmly to Coriander. She came out him hard, with all her strength and Tarou easily saw it coming and sidestepped out of the way. He grabbed the girl's fist, easily and quickly immobilizing her. "Don't get angry."

"Why shouldn't I get angry?" Coriander asked. "They killed my parents!"

"There are two reasons," Tarou said. "The first I'm demonstrating right now. Your mother had the same trouble sometimes, but then, she also knew how to use an opponent's anger better than most anyone else."

Tarou let Coriander go, and the girl rubbed at her wrist, feeling somewhat useless. She looked up at Tarou then as he sat down.

"What's the second reason?" she asked quietly.

"Your mother told me to protect you," he said. "I'm training you in case your parents' killers come after you, not so that you become a killer, like them."

"But this is revenge," Coriander protested.

"That's what your parents killers'll tell you," Tarou responded. Coriander blanched.

"What...what did my parents do to them?" Coriander asked.

"They got married," Tarou said. "Now, take your stance again. Now."

Coriander reluctantly clamped down the questions she had and entered her stance.

"You have made an error here," Kiima said, pointing to Basil's writing.

"But Chinese is so complicated," Basil moaned. "Why do I need to learn it?"

"Because your father was Chinese," Kiima said. "And you have an ancient heritage to continue."

"Why can't I do something fun?" Basil asked.

"Like blowing up the water shed, I suppose," Kiima said. "Loads of fun that was."

"Eheheheh," Basil laughed self-consciously.
