Still, she had done the initial investigation much as she knew that her sempai would have wanted it: professional and through. Nothing was left unlooked at, even in her haste to find out what had happened to Doctor Akagi. But not a trace remained of her or what ever it had been that had happened to her.
So, after she had managed to get the room cleared, she went in, looking for something non-scientific to tell her about what had occured. Perhaps a note or something, or just a rack of test tubes out of place. Enough so that she could figure out what it was that had gone on in the room.
Yet, the only thing that she could find was a statue of a catgirl on the counter. Picking it up, she looked at it and wondered what it was about the thing that made Shinji carry it around. Not that it wasn't obvious, what with being the image of a cute girl, which made her smile as she checked it out.
'Who would have thought that this would be the sort of thing that he was into,' she mused to herself as she ran a finger along its surface. Once she got to the hand of the statue, she drew in a hiss of air at the scratch that it gave her.
Sucking at the injured digit, she put down the statue, just as she began to transform into a:
