Anyone who's lived for twenty years or more is fully aware that the universe has a sense of humour. Maya's new template was no exception. Whether through random chance, mischief on the part of the statue itself, or some truly bizarre thread in her karma, Maya Ibuki was now a sword-wielding warrior catgirl - the perfect protector and complement to her idol's new wizard persona.
Maya grew out of her uniform as height, bust, and muscle mass increased, while maintaining a streamlined form that would make her millions as a model. Her new body stood about six inches beyond her original five and a half feet, with enough weight to make her both slender and solid-looking. Her tail poked out from beneath her jacket as it freed itself from her pants, just before her clothes vanished. They were replaced by a chainmail top amd iron-pleated skirt that had better cheesecake potential than armour value. Though with her catgirl agility, anything heavier would probably have proved more a hindrance than a help. And as for weapons...
Claw bracers strapped to her wrists, throwing stars on her belt, and a two-handed greatsword running the length of her spine. She had ranged, melee, and close-combat options covered, and was loaded for dragon. She was Maya Ibuki, Warrior Catgirl, hear her roar!
"Meow."
The former assistant to Dr. Akagi clapped a furry hand over her mouth. Never mind, she had more important things to do. She had to find and protect her sempai!
Her course set, the fully-armed catgirl strode off, ready for battle...not noticing that the little statue had vanished...
Cold, practical, logical Ritsuko was now a powerful wizard. Shy, gentle Maya a ferocious (sort of) warrior. What new changes would the statue bring about?
