"Nothing," he snapped. "Yet again, nothing."
"Trouble, Brother-Dear?" Kodachi asked as she came past the room, dressed in a rather fetching outfit. A strapless evening gown with a side-slit that accentuated her beauty terrificlly.
"The private investigators continue to turn up nothing in the search for the pig-tailed woman's killer," Kuno snapped irritably.
"She died in a gas-explosion, brother," Kodachi said. "Wretched woman that she was, marrying a gaijin even."
"I'll not here you degrade the beauty, sister," Kuno said. "Especially not as you loiter with that cretinous Sanzenin."
"Sanzenin, Brother," Kodachi said with a smile as she walked away from the door. "Is controlable."
"It matters not," Kuno said. "She was murdered, and I will see her avenged."
"You do that brother," Kodachi said, sighing. And in the meantime she'd still be paying them to "humor" her brother as well as keeping an eye out for anything remotely likely to turn up the truth.
