[Episode 59507] [Episode 59507]Behind the vampire were a few old building. What looked like an old military compound, what could have been some sort of air-force base, was burning. The black smoke rose high into the air high, a few sparks of cinders going up into the air as well.
However, if one took the smell coming from that smoke into account, one would realize that it was not just the building burning...
Wiping his mouth with the back of his coat sleeve, Alucard had to chuckle a bit. "Boy, was that ever a filling meal."
Saying such, Alucard stopped in mid-stride his walk, to study some of his work. A distance from the buildings, were a number of corpses, former soldiers for the warlord... And not one of them were still in one piece. After all, it had been a long while since Alucard had killed to feed.
"I just wish they put up more of a fight..." Alucard said to himself. Like the majority of humans, they were weak-willed sheep, hiding behind their guns... Hiding behind their toys...
"And their leader, the warlord was the biggest disappointment of all..." Alucard thought with a bit of anger. He had expected some strong-willed man to be the leader of a flock of sheep... He expected their 'sheperd'to be a lion... "And instead he was just an old goat..."
The fight with the warlord had been short and left Alucard feeling cheated. The old man shot him numerous times, with little effect. Hell, Alucard didn't even need his gun to kill him. Just swiped at his throat with his hand, and the warlord went down dead.
Shaking his head, Alucard knew that he should have expected this. Still, it wasn't a total waste of time. "At least they didn't taste that bad..." Alucard chuckled and kept walking, disappearing when he reached a cluster of shadows...
"Better. And stop calling me 'Vicky'!"
