Genma's Wish: The Quiet Before the Storm [Episode 6048]

Shivering, Genma smacked Ranma in the back of his neck, and indicated the sign on the entrance to the Tendo Dojo. "Boy, go and challenge the master," he commanded in a tone that broke no disagreement.

As Ranma went around to the back door, grumbling to himself, Genma chuckled. The plan was perfect! While the boy waits for someone to fight, he could go in and get together with his old buddy Soun! Then, they would send one of Soun's girls to the dojo, where a tired Ranma would be eternally grateful to see another person and fall in love with her at first sight, followed by a naughty scene when the marriage would be cemented! That was the plan, anyway.

With a skip in his step, Genma knocked on the front door, only to have his jaw drop as--

• The door was answered by the most beautiful woman he had ever seen! Forget Ranma, Genma was going to fulfil the old pledge!
• Soun, tears streaming from his eyes, glomps onto Genma; censored follows.
• It's Nodoka! What is she doing there?
• False alarm. No one actually opens the door, so Genma decides to invite himself in. After all, isn't Soun his bestest buddy in the whole wide world?
