But it did have its upside though. Real porcupines only had his skill of rolling into a ball and presenting only quills to potential attackers. They could never put poison so that it could coat those same quills. And they would never be able to shoot them at targets, attackers and victims alike.
So he wasn't totally hating his new form, even if he would have prefered something else. At least this way he had some tricks up his sleeve to use if he needed them. Which was likely, seeing as there was probably going to be some sort of interference coming, since not all would accept his plans.
And it was so useful that the poisions weren't all limited to killing people...
So he padded his way along, getting ready for his plans while:
