Shampoo reluctantly decided she likely wasn't getting anywhere in this negotiation.
Ranma flipped the odd rock in his hands as he read the scroll.
The ancient martial arts style was mainly defensive though some of the manuevers looked like they could be devastating. Or painful - especially the "Flying Turtle Head Butt" - that could be very painful.
Hmmm. A weighted shell? He was carrying a lot of weight in his backpack from all the cans of pet food.
"Ranma? Where did you get that?" Seta asked calmly as he scrutinized what Ranma was flipping up and down.
"I got it when it shot out of one of those vents while Shampoo was smashing into things underground," responded Ranma. Hmmm. The "Turtle Hidden Weapon Technique"? Could have some uses...
"That's the 'Turtle's Egg' I think," said Seta, figuring out that Shampoo's mad dash had probably caused a trap to eject the treasure.
"Oh?" Ranma asked, turning his attention to the stone.
