Genma's Summoning - Eilistraee: The Dark Maiden [Episode 6178]

by Thrythlind

The woman before him was stunningly attractive, with reflective black skin and pale icy blue eyes that almost seemed completely white save for the pupils sitting alone in the centers. She stood perhaps six-feet tall with a slender, graceful figure and long, pointed ears under a mane of silver hair. Strapped to her back was a large, European style sword, and she was dressed in a surpassingly light chain mesh with thick cloth padding and leather breeches.

"How is a woman like you going to teach my boy anything?" Genma demanded.

She arched an eyebrow and looked up at Genma. She wasn't about to tell him how screwed up his spellcasting had been, the only reason she had come in answer was she didn't want to be responsible for what happened to the child when the fool got the summoning correct.

She did not deign to answer the question, and instead turned to point to the scroll.

"I don't know if you bothered to read the scroll," Eilistraee said. "But I believe the contract is that the...offering..." she flinched at the term. "...is mine in return for a service. The service you would have me perform is to train the boy?"

"That is...what offering?" Genma asked.

"Why...the boy of course," Eilistraee answered before vanishing with Ranma.

Ranma looked around in shock about the plane of Elysium as Eilistraee introduced him to her modest (for a deity) home.

"This is your home now, Ranma," she said, gesturing to the woods over which hung a shimmering dark as if it were a starry night. Other dark-skinned men and women, all much shorter than Eilistraee herself, regarded Ranma curiously, wondering at this human their Lady had brought to her realm.
