Wild Dragons: Warning Passed On [Episode 61877]

by Thrythlind

Kiima frowned as she hung up the phone and strode purposefully toward Tarou and the Hibikis.

"What did Tendo have to say?" Tarou asked, seeing his wife enter the room.

"She just had the most odd phone call," Kiima said. "That her friend left children and that people knew."

She looked to Coriander speaking to Ryuuma and momentarily frowned, her own son would have to make decision in that regard before he found the decision made for him. She would not begrudge the Saotome girl choosing another. However, she expected her son to at least try to put his name forward, assuming he was interested, of course.

Her husband, meanwhile was frowning for another reason entirely and it was a reason she shared.

"Do you think someone saw her?" Akari asked.

"I don't know," Kiima said. "Nabiki's caller did not stay on the line long. It seems unlikely, else they might have already tried something."

"One of us should see to the boys," Tarou noted.

"I shall attend to that," Kiima said. "I am less conspicuous than you. And should I wait there for you, or shall we find new accomodations?"

Tarou caught the unspoken hope that they wouldn't have to move away from the region they had made their home, but it was a delicate matter.

"Wait there," he decided. "When we know more, we'll call. Besides, there's that number Ranma left. Maybe it's time Coriander met her subjects."

"Perhaps," Kiima agreed, she turned to the Hibikis and, with a face dripping with relief. "Hot water, please."

A few minutes later she was airborne and on the way home as a gawking Hibiki boy watched and everybody else waved, wishing her a good journey.
