Each was breathing well and normally, silently resting in the bed. Well, as silently as Nabiki ever rested at least.
The baby herself showed every sign of being a healthy, normal baby girl. She had a very healthy set of lungs at the very least. That had been proven as she had exited her mother's womb.
Tarou took a brief moment to look over her carefully, looking for any sign of something a little different. He knew that the Jusenkyo waters had a profound effect upon matters of inheritance. All he had to do was think of the Musk or the Phoenix people or just look at Kitsune's hair to know that. And he, with such an extreme curse, was bound to have some effect on his children.
But, for the moment, he could see no abnormalities severe enough to worry for his daughter's acceptance among her fellow man.
"I swear," Nabiki said wearily, without opening her eyes or moving her arms from around her daughter. "Japanese, Chinese, Portuguese, English...whatever, i don't care, but...if you name her something like Bra or Briefs or Trunks or anything else like that, heads will roll."
"I'm not a sadist, Nabiki," Tarou protested. "I'm naming her Tse."
"Now that's a pretty name," Nabiki mumbled. "I like that. My little Tse," She yawned briefly before slipping back down into sleep...and returned to snoring.
