Rei had apparently started to climb over his form, a motion that had, by the way, caused the overburdened towel to fall away. Not that Shinji could see that, but he certainly could feel it as the breasts pressing into his skin were no longer cloth-covered.
He swallowed nervously for fear that Rei should waken and discover the situation, especially as he was proving to have little control over a certain portion of his anatomy.
Rei stretched and pushed in her sleep and suddenly he wasn't on his side, but his back, with her slumbering, as far as Shinji knew, over him.
The arms clasped around him tightly, as if holding a teddy bear, he thought in fervant denial. Further slumbering motions carried his underwear away, seperating the last barrier between his manhood and Rei's womanhood.
Shinji gulped the competeing desires of running to get away from her and not waking her to avoid dying ran rampantly through the field of his mind, destroying what little remained of his current conscious thought.
Some minor twinge of suspicion rose in his mind when the girl on top of him pinned his arms to the bed and sleepily started licking his chest, but the dominant emotion was still fear of what Rei would do when she actually woke up.
And, of course, when she lifted her rear-end slightly into the air and brought it back down again, impaling herself on his shaft.
Of course, Ninja-Rei's ears and tail showed themselves in the heat of that moment, but Shinji just convinced himself that he was hallucinating out of the fear.
As Rei thrust up and down and heaved her bounteous chest into Shinji's face, he really began to consider that...maybe, this wasn't a sleeping Rei...
And then the building pressure in his groin exploded and drove the rather obvious thought out of his mind.
As the cat-girl snuggled in warm satisfaction against him she sighed and smiled in the darkness before whispering.
"I told you still might get 'tails'," she said.
"Eh?" Shinji said, as he wasn't capable of much more while his mind rebooted.
Of course, Misato and Ritsuko would have been rolling their eyes at the experience lacking duo and their (or Rei's, at least) illusion of having had a good go. But there was no one to let the young lovers know that as they both settled into sleep for real.
