In space no one can here you scream. However it seems in the case of Mazoku you can hear them laugh in space. In the area around Ranma was a star and the smashed remains of some planets. The devastated landscape appealed to Ranma. Ranma sat on an asteriod the size of a small bus.
However Ranma had a visitor. The man wore a green Kree military uniform and had what appeared to be a star field on his face. He was Genis-Vell aka Captain Marvel. He had cosmic awareness, and could see the future. He tried to control it, but it had driven him insane. He also claimed to be a god.
"It took you long enough to get here" Genis said coldly. He seemed as if he was insulted by Ranma taking so long playing around with the Defenders and Sailor Senshi.
"Don't make me angry, you won't like what I'd do to you if I was angry" Ranma said. Magical energy surrounded Ranma. Captain Marvel was unphased.
"Making me fart fire, well that's a first" Captain Marvel said.
Ranma stopped. "How did you know I was going to do that to you?" Ranma asked.
"I'm cosmically aware which allows me to see the future" Genis explained and added "Which is why I can say for a fact that it would be in your best interests to help me."
"And if I refuse?" Ranma asked. Ranma wasn't going to be forced to dance to anyone else's tune anymore. He felt he had had enough of that to last him several lifetimes.
"If being reduced to the boy toy,and I mean literally a boy toy, of the daughter of Satan sounds like a fun way to spend the rest of your existance, then don't help me" Captain Marvel said sounding as if he didn't care if that happened.
"I will not be the boy toy of any being" Ranma said.
"Good, now we don't have much time and we have a lot of places to go" Genis said briskly as he flew away.
Ranma decided to humor him and fly through space beside him. Ranma doubted that this "Captain Marvel" really could see the future, but was curious as to what was really going on, and besides what could Captain Marvel do to hurt a Mazoku?
In a another dimension, Ranma was being watched. Right now Ranma was doing exactly what he wanted. Now to play a visit to his old teammates, the Defenders. Plus a certain member of the team... his exwife.
Chained to a wall was what would make them and the Sailor Senshi follow his plans.
