"Oh my kittens," said Ritsuko, staring. "Seducing Shinji is a Side Quest?!"
"I think I ought to go find Touji," said Hikari, excusing herself and leaving quietly.
"So what do we do?" said Misato as the music finally ended.
"That was kind of freaky seeing Shinji and Asuka wearing the same clothes and all, hope it's back to normal now," said Touji.
"Yeah, I guess," said Kensuke Aida. "I don't know. I just feel like something's about to happen still."
"Yeah right," said Touji. "Your predictions are never right."

"Huh? Where's that music coming from?" Touji asked.
A motorcycle came racing along the street, sans driver.
Two buildings away, someone leapt into the air. "Cutey FLASH!"
With that, her stylish if not very stealthy ninja outfit exploded off her body in streamers of ragged cloth. As the girl dropped down, her form could be clearly seen - with a couple of exceptions - and as she landed on the seat of the motorcycle, she was now clad in the helmet and riding leathers common to Japanese motorcycle riders.

Kensuke Aida began to speak a couple of times, licked his lips, and remained silent.
Touji frowned. "I didn't know Rei Ayanami had an older sister."
"Neither did I," admitted Kensuke.
"Catgirl huh?" Touji asked.
"Yup. Nice tail too," agreed Kensuke.
"Uh huh." Touji was silent a few more moments. "You know I think my father hid a bottle of scotch in the bookshelf."
"You're kidding. We've got to get to the bottom of this mystery!" Kensuke declared.
"Hmmm!" Touji hmmmed. "Come on. We're going to be late for school!"
The SRU Wizard toasted his TV with a bottle of imported beer. Just because Shinji wouldn't turn into a catgirl didn't mean he'd remain unchanged. Saving only the women of the race by turning them into catgirls only put off the problem.
So Shinji was discovering a few minor changes, tweaks in his physique, due to his own transformation. Cuddling with a catgirl was the only way to do it, making it something darn difficult to do accidently. Repeated exposures would complete the process.
And quite frankly, Shinji needed some affection in his life. It might help him find that backbone.
