Then he reached down with a hand, glowed briefly, and straightened up.
Nabiki stared. Akane's ruined hand looked... better.
"Hmph. Maybe I've spent too much time around Kakarotto," said Vegita musingly to himself. "Though maybe this female has learned not to underestimate me. As for you - get up!"
"Yessir!" Nabiki said, not believing for a moment that Vegita was soft or that she really had a chance. If she DID manipulate him, she would die in a predictably violent fashion. On the other hand, if this was post-Bulma Vegita, he had mellowed just a tiny bit. He might merely break all of her limbs if she betrayed him.
Vegita considered the fallen female and the one saluting him. Soft. But then again, Bulma had been soft in some ways and... interesting in others.
Then he felt it. Chi? Perhaps not quite - but related. Interesting.
What was this female's name? Oh yes. "Nabiki. Who are those people?"
Nabiki looked out the window and got her second surprise. "No way. I didn't think they were real. That's-"
