Sure, Kuno would probably show his thanks by groping her, then proclaiming that the spell from the "demon-sorcerer" must be fading, and...
Ranma shook her head, slapping her face repeatedly. She shouldn't be discouraging herself from her path of action.
"Okay, Kodachi wasn't much help..." Ranma started speaking to herself when Kuno interrupted with one of his delusions.
"What's that? There's a damsel in distress? Worry not, my good man, for I, Samurai Man, shall save her from the clutches of the evil sorcerer! But first, a word from our sponsors! Do you have problems with watermelon infestation? Just can't get rid of those pesky fruits before more grow? Get "
He then proceeded to sing, "Start Eyecatch! Samurai Man! Samurai Man! Beating Evil-Doers with his mighty oak weapon! That's S-A-M-U-R-A-I MAN! End Eyecatch!"
Ranma shuddered and covered her ears to tune out the insanity of Samurai Man. Kuno seemed to be getting worse down there. Something had to be done quick.
Gulping, the red-headed martial artist makes a hard decision. He was gonna get cured once Kuno got out and used that scroll, he could live with a bit of groping. "I'll...I'll go get some rope and come save you, sempai."
Kuno just kept singing ballads of Samurai Man as Ranma went to look for some place to get rope from.
Fifteen minutes later, Ranma returned to the well with a good lenght of rope. Nothing seemed to be heard from down the well though.
Once more peering into the inky darkness, she cupped her hands over her mouth and shouted, "Yo, Kuno-sempai! Still down there?"
A snore answered her, causing her to sigh in relief. The moron hadn't killed himself over his delusions yet. Good. Him being out of it was also good, it meant if he stayed asleep, she might be able to get him out without a grope.
Looking for a good sturdy tree, she tied the rope around the lenght of it and made a tight, secure knot. Grasping the other end of the rope, she walked back over to the well mouth and threw in the rope lenght in.
Taking a deep breath, Ranma hoped she was doing the right thing and began to climb down the lenght of rope. She quickly got low enough that she could see Kuno. 'Almost there...' she thought.
"Midorigame-san! Midorigame-san! Want to play fetch?" Ranma heard Kodachi's voice cooing up above.
'Oh...no...' Ranma thought with a wince, before she started scrambling upwards, certain of what would happen.
*SNAP*
"Good Midor...wait, what's that in your mouth?"
As she fell, Ranma noted glumly to kick the reptile's ass once she got out of here. Kodachi's too if she didn't help get her out of here. Then her world went black.
Well, blacker than it already was.
