Settled around a table were three catgirls intent on what was before them. Scattered around were various electronic pieces and parts, all in differing states of dismantling. Everything was placed with infinate care and precision, save for the one pile of broken parts. But they did not pay attention to that as they were intent on the discussion that they were having.

"I do think that we can do it," Rei Hakubi told the other two.

Ritsuko nodded. "If we do, then it will free up a lot of possibilities for us."

"But I still don't know why I'm here," commented Rei Kisaragi.

"Your changing ability will be helpful for basing this on."

"Besides," drawled a smirking Rei Hakubi, "I like the idea of having a possible guinea pig around."

"Heh..," went the suddenly nervous catgirl superheroine.

"But first we have to build it!"

"A freestanding structure would rid us of the need for size restraints," suggested the catgirl white mage.

"Except that a more streamlined device would mean less room for errors to creep in."

Rei Kisaragi frowned thoughtfully. "Wouldn't a personal device that could do it on the fly be easier?"

"And now you show why you are here," Ritsuko told her.

"Though we still have to discuss what would best," the mad scientist added.

"Hopefully with less interruptions..."


In a nearby closet, Rei Bunny rocked the chair that she had been tied to and tried to yell "Let me out! I'll be good!" through her gag.


Gendo Ikari had not been pleased for quite a while now.

He had dealt with the disappearances of subordinates as best as possible.

The various computer problems had been problematic at best.

Discovering that his private bathroom was now having its own private watershow, complete with leaping goldfish, was not amusing.

Having to go to the floor with the control center in an elevator telling him that it was "Fourth Floor, Ladies' lingerie, intimate apparel and the plans of meglomaniacs" had been an annoyance.

But this? It was downright disturbing.

"And you say that it is on every screen?" he asked in an eerily calm voice.

"Yes sir. Everywhere in the Geofront, and we have some confirmation from a few outside viewers," Aoba told the Commander.

"I understand."

"Didn't know that you had that much rhythm though..."

"What was that?"

"Nothing!"

"Good," Gendo replied and the corner of his eye started to twitch as he turned back to watch.

On the screen happened to be a computer construction of the Commander and Vice-Commander dancing the Tango while:
