Giant lizards everywhere.
Leaving the nuts had been his first decision. Having heard screams and wild shooting behind him, he decided he'd made the right choice.
Leaping over some kinda lizard with claws, Ranma spotted the two others. Hmmm. Intensive training? Why not!
What to call this? Lizard-fist?
Work on that later. Duck under the slash. Uppercut. Dodge. Elbow smash. Hey! That one cut one of my good shirts!
"Okay. NOW I'm mad."
Ryoga screamed like a little girly-man (which he wasn't, he merely sounded like it at the moment) as he realized he was running full tilt towards disaster with a dinosaur stampede behind him. Ever since the Land Of The Lost, it had been a jumble of one odd place after another, usually changing within within a minute of the next or at least as soon as he could turn a corner - and the remaining alcohol was slowly being driven from his system enough to realize what was going on. And now he was here where so much disaster had entered his life all at once.
"Aghhh!" Ryoga said as he fell with a splash into a pool, being knocked forward by someone just behind him.
Akane gasped as she recognized the place that Ryoga had just led them. She might never have been here (this not being post end of manga) except in nightmares, but it had been described before. "Jusenkyo! Don't fall in the pools!"
"What?!" said Yuka just before she fell into a pool.
Then it was just pure chaos with Akane completely focussed on one task and one task only. Leaping from one ridge of dirt to another without falling in, away from the sounds of disaster behind her. She ran past the Guide's hut, only slightly slower, and when a triceratops came abreast of her she leapt on and let the running herbivore take her away from the disaster unfolding in the valley.
The Guide took one look at the dinosaurs running amok, reached into his jacked, pulled out a little flask, and tossed it away.
Meanwhile, several of the Land Of The Lost dinosaurs were drowning in pools that you'd think were entirely too small for such purpose until you remembered that somehow a yeti-riding-a-bull-while-carrying-a-crane-and-eel had drowned in a pool of water that was roughly two feet across and about that deep.
"Spring of drowned tyrannosaurus rex, spring of drowned triceratops, spring of drowned catgirl, spring of drowned Sailor Senshi, spring of drowned Jawa, spring of drowned person-with-topknot-and-weird-slingshot, spring of almost-drowned-Japanese-schoolgirl," said the Guide, writing them down as he watched, "spring of drowned-Milne-characters. Oh, make that almost drown. Spring of drowned archeoperta... archy opter... spring of drowned lizard-bird. Spring of drowned spiky tailed dinosaur, spring of drowned flying dinosaur, spring of drowned short little... almost drowned short little club tailed dinosaur. Spring of drowned scythe clawed dinosaur. Spring of drowned primate thing. Spring of drowned horned lizard person. Spring of..."
Yuka leapt from one spring, bounced once, and grabbed Sayuri to land them both on a triceratops.
"YUKA?!" Sayuri boggled at her altered friend.
Ryoga crawled out of a spring, many hoof and claw and footprints decorating his body, and promptly fell unconscious. Not realizing that turning into a pig was no longer a problem.
And so the stampede of dinosaurs continued along the path, taking the survivors of the latest tragic tales of Jusenkyo to:
