Sakura looked around, and it was quite obvious to anyone that she was excited. She had never been to South Town before, and it can be safely said that anyone who visits South Town for the first time will easilly get swept up in the action.
Ranma blinked as he saw a figure with a bandage on his face, his left arm in a sling, and holding onto a crutch as he was limping over to him and Sakura. Ranma recognized the person as he got close enough, and his jaw dropped. "R, ROCK!?"
Sakura smiled to herself as she heard Ranma cal out Rock's name. She made herself supress her smile and turned to see Rock... Worse for wear. "ROCK! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU!?"
Rock used his good arm to turn the wheelchair to face his brother. "Ranma, you're paying for the DVD Player this time."
Blinking, Ranma said, "But I paid for the television!"
"Which your girlfriend ALSO Kempo-kicked THROUGH the window of our apartment!" Rock said.
Ranma grimaced. "Oh shoot. Hotaru was really pissed about me disappearing, wasn't she?"
"That's putting it one way..." Rock said sarcastically. "I swear to God Ranma, I was in my Rage Run, MY RAGE RUN! And I still COULD NOT GET AWAT FROM HER!"
Ranma nodded his head sagely. "Yeah, she can get like that at times. Well, thanks for taking the brunt of her assault for me."
Sighing, Rock said, "No problem. Just replace the TV and DVD player."
"All right, yeesh." Ranma said.
Feeling good about getting that bit of news out of the way, Rock then had a thought. "So, is it true that you're engaged to some girl named Akane Tendo?"
"WHAT!?" Ranma asked. "Where did THAT come from!?"
"It was on the news." Rock said. "Shortly after you left Osaka, two guys, one Soun Tendo and one Genma Saotome came on. The fat man claimed he was your father, and Soun said you were to marry his daughter."
Pracitcally growling, Ranma put that thought aside. "Those idiots..." He muttered. "Well, looks like I'll have to talk to Hotaru and straighten this out with her."
Walking up to Rock, Sakura put her hand on his good arm. "Is there anything I can do to help you Rock?"
Blinking a few times, Rock then blushed a deep red. "N, no thanks Sakura! I'm an adult and a martial artist." He then started backing away.
"But Rock..." Sakura said.
"No, really, I'm fine!" Rock affirmed, taking a few more steps back.
"BUT ROCK!" Sakura and Ranma screamed at the same time.
Rock took another step back. "But WhAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!?!?" Was Rock's cry as he tumbled backwards down an escalator.
"OW!" *CRASH* "OW!" *SNAP* "OWW!" *CRACK* "OW! MY ARM'S NOT SUPPOSED TO BEND THAT WAY!!!" *KER-SNACK* "OH GOD THIS HURTS!" *THWACK* "MY LEGS! I CAN'T FEEL MY LEGS!" *THWAM*
Ranma and Sakura grimaced at the sight of Rock.
