Ranma and Sakura wheels Rock out of the airport in a wheelchair... Only to have an airport shuttle bus driven by a vengeance-seeking Gato hit Rock. *KER-POW* "AH! MY LEG! I CAN'T FEEL MY OTHER LEG!"
Sakura quickly leapt to grab Rock out of the way. Ranma faced Gato with mixed feelings. While he was confident that he could normally take on this wannabe Satsu no Hado fighter - after Akuma and God Rugal, Gato was no worry. On the other hand, Ranma had not yet completely recovered from the battles with Rugal, and Gato looked to be in perfect health. This could be a difficult battle.
However, that was a conflict that would not happen, as Hotaru showed up. "RANMA BOGARD!!" Everyone turned to stare at Hotaru, who stalked right up to Ranma.
Gato tried to intervene. "Hotaru, get out of the way..."
**WHAM!!**
And Gato suddenly found himself in a baggage cart on the other side of the airport. He wouldn't get full control of his faculties until after he had already been loaded on a plane, and was on his way to France.
Ranma gulped under the burning gaze. "Um... hi, Hotaru-chan?"
Hotaru looked right in Ranma's eyes. Then she punched him in the stomach. Ranma folded up. "That was for leaving without telling me."
Ranma thought about pointing out that he hadn't left by choice, then decided to keep quiet.
Then Hotaru belted him across the face. "That was for worrying me by fighting Rugal!"
Ranma could feel his teeth loosen.
"Now," she said at last, "Do you have any intention of following through on that fat man's arranged marriage?"
"Absolutely not. I would die before I would do anything the man that abandoned me wants."
Hotaru glared. "Is that the only reason."
"Well," Ranma said with a pained smile, "I'm not about to leave you, either. If you don't want m...MMMPH!" Ranma couldn't finish as his mouth was now occupied with Hotaru's mouth.
"Um..." an embarrassed Sakura said, "If you two are finished, can we get Rock to a hospital? I think he passed out..."
