Maya's ears, similar to Misato's were growing into a point. Unlike Misato, the effect wasn't yet pronounced enough for her to notice. Even if it had been as pronounced as Misato's, she wasn't quite that paranoid about her looks.
She did have a quick suspicion, hastily killed, that her front teeth were getting bigger. And she was getting an itch at the base of her spine, just above her butt crack. All in all, however, she didn't see anything to be concerned about.
So she reached again for a carrot from the plate next to her and went to work on the next piece of paperwork.
