Statue of Miao Nyan Mew : Home sweet home? [Episode 66511]

Gendo Ikari was getting to dread going to work. Leaving for lunch was fine. Today the comissary had slices of tender roast beef, a nicely peppery gravy, sliced fresh carrots steamed with a little butter, and mashed potatos under the aforementioned gravy.

That the comissary was no longer featuring things like "Mystery Meat Loaf" and "Jello with marshmallows" had been duly noted with shock and astonishment.

The Muzak™ system was a bit odd as it kept playing music from various videogames, but all things considered was a relatively minor point.

Didn't get the chance, we had some weird report of some buried city in Egypt in the delta region rising from the desert. Weird how those sandstorms can do stuff like that, isn't it?"

"You should have seen it. It dealt with some conspiracy called SEELE."

Gendo began coughing up the canned coffee he'd just been drinking.

The two girls at the next table ignored the old geezer coughing behind them.

"So did you see 'Little Shrine On The Prairie'? I've heard it's very nice."

"That could be awhile then," observed Melchior. "They're competent, serious, and utterly without an original thought."

"All the more reason to keep them away from my sisters," pointed out Reibits.

"It's perfect, that it is," said Rei Himura-Aoyama.

"Rei Maehara will think so too," said Rei-ojou.

"I tend to agree with our resident sword slinger," said Rei Light.

"Could be worse I s'pose," said Rei Saotome.

They had found their potential new home, and it was a building that had been copied from the original Tokyo to Tokyo-3, and then abandoned shortly after the first Angel attack. For sale cheap.
