He remembers when he was human. The hard life and challenges. The chaos and struggle, and finally his death.
He remembers his Chain of Destiny corroding over time and one day becoming a monstrous form with a vaguely skeletal mask and a large hole where their chain was once connected. A Hollow, I later learned.
I remember every soul I devoured in the living world for many years and even souls of shinigami - death gods- who came to cleanse me with there swords.
I even remember devouring other hollows with hundreds of others to become a Gillian-class menos also known as menos grande. The years trapped with it's depths, until I overwhelmed the others and we/I became a Adjuchas-class menos.
For a time I dreamed of becoming a Vasto Lorde-class menos, but in time I removed my mask and gained shinigami powers, becoming Arrancar.
Then came the day. I found a fragile portal to another world in the wastes of Hueco Mundo, the Hollow World. Not to the human world where the hollows go to feed. Not the Soul Society where the shinigami and the cleansed souls reside.
Another mortal world, another Fate. The World of...
