Warrior: Meeting the Tendos [Episode 66942]

by AWarringer

The day in Nerima began like every Sunday. Aside from the light rain it was a good day. But exactly this caused paranoia in the people of Nerima. The day was too good. Something would happen in the next few hours or even days.

They were partly right as some of them saw a group of three walk down the street. This group got some stares from the people of Nerima, who normally were used to their own little Twilight Zone.

The first one of the group wasn’t that unusual. It was a tall redhead, maybe 5 and a half feet tall. She was wearing something that looked like a light green colored combat uniform of the US Army. It really hid her figure so that no one was able to say how she looked under that uniform. She had her hair done in a pigtail and a large backpack on her back.

The second of the group was only a bit unusual to Nerima, as he was a panda. A panda, which walked on its hind legs and wore a backpack like the redhead.

The third was the one who caused everyone to take a double take. He was a humanoid wolf with sheer white fur, a bit over six feet tall. He wore hiking clothes, a black and yellow bandana and a large backpack.

“You still want to come with us, Ryoga?”

The wolf, Ryoga, shrugged.

“Got a better idea?” he answered.” I have gotten my rematch before we fell into the springs. And now that I got a sense of direction, I don’t know where to go.”

The redhead raised an eyebrow.

“You definitely became a lot more mentally stable, Wolfie.”

As Ryoga growled at her, she chuckled a bit.

“You really don’t want to go back to Jusenkyo to cure that curse?” she asked.

“Why?” he asked back,” It could be worse. I could have fallen in the spring of drowned piglet or something. In this form I can speak, I can finally find my way…”

“But don’t know where to go,” the redhead threw in.

“…and I got opposing thumbs.”

“Two that is, at every hand.”

Ryoga looked at his furred hand. It looked much like a human hand, but had an additional thumb on the opposed side of the palm, where the little finger should have been. He shrugged.

“And why don’t you want to go back, Ranma?” he asked the redhead.

Not it was on her to shrug.

“My gender doesn’t matter, as long as I’m able to kill one of those beasts.”

Ryoga raised an eyebrow. Ranma had told him her ‘dream’, not that he believed it, but this ‘dream’ had made Ranma one of the best fighters he knew.

The panda on the other side fumed. He needed a male son, a MANLY son, not some female Rambo. He had to swallow at his own Rambo-reference. Ranma really knew how to use any weapon, be it traditional or modern. Ranma hadn’t been the same after the busted Neko-Ken training. Ever since he had come back in that stupid uniform, he had resisted every training that would make him the pawn Genma wanted him to be. But he had to admit that Ranma surpassed everything he had hoped. Maybe he would be strong enough to fight of the dreaded Master *shudder* should he ever come back.

Ranma looked up.

“Hey, isn’t that the place we wanted to go, pops?”

Genma came out of his thoughts and blinked at the sign in front of him. He nodded.

“Growf.”

Ranma nodded and went to the door of the house in front of them. She knocked while the two others came up behind her. A bit later the door opened and a young woman with long brown hair opened.

“Hello, can I…”

She stopped as her gaze locked at Ryoga. Ryoga noticed the look.

‘Great another one who thinks I’m some kind of werewolf.’

He was surprised as the young woman glomped into him.

“Wolfie!!”

Ranma and Genma-panda just stared at the scene in front of them. Meanwhile the scream of ‘Wolfie!!’ had drawn the other inhabitants of the house. An middle-aged man, a gorn with short brown hair and a blue haired girl.
