Following the SHAZAM pattern, the next participant should have had a Z at the beginning of their name. Unfortunately, there was a decided lack of such in the elven pantheon.
S-H-A-?
"C"
Erevan blinked at the sudden appearance of someone he really hadn't expected to get involved. "My lord?"
Corellon Larethian mused for a moment. "Humans and elves, for whatever reason, have often been drawn to each other."
"That is true, lord," agreed Erevan.
"Whether it is the human's fires of passion, elven beauty, masculine and feminine natures, whatever - there are more human+elven pairings than there are half-elves, and there are a lot of half-elves," pointed out the head of the elven pantheon.
"That is so," agreed Erevan, wondering where this was going. "In most cases, the human dies early on and the elf grieves for a human generation before choosing an elven lover. Remembering the human fondly but getting on with their life."
Corellon nodded. "In some worlds it is almost a rite of passage. Elven maids and lords who have had a human lover and then sort of become an elven godfather to that human line. Human Appreciation Societies. And those human societies and families they interact with certainly benefit from such a thing."
Erevan winced. He'd thought he'd been a little more discrete than that.
"Just letting you know that while I may be turning a blind eye to certain things because certain difficulties have come into my consideration," said Corellon, "that is not an indication to 'go wild' in this instance."
Erevan smiled. He'd just been given an almost free reign here as long as Eilistraee was better off.
"I am considering that if this 'Ranma Saotome' does well, that a demigodling position - patron of half-elves, might become available," said Corellon. "We'll see."
"To him, I was considering granting the Gift of Tongues," said Erevan. "A useful thing for a wanderer."
"Considering it coming from you, I'd expect more than language skill to be involved," said Corellon drily.
Erevan grinned. So nice to be recognized.
"A touch of the divine, that may become a spark if he does capture Eilistraee's heart. That however is a matter of choice, for both he and she." Corellon faded out as he went elsewhere.
Erevan nodded. Heightened healing and recovery abilities, the touch of divine blood - very useful for a martial artist.
Well, most of the time. Eilistraee winced at the impression Ranma made on the tree, but just as she was getting close to check on him, Ranma shot her a quick grin and was off again.
Then she saw what kind of tree it was and what he had in his hand. "No Ranma! Those apples are nourished by -"
"Hic!"
"-a magical spring." Eilistraee sighed. Well, Ranma would probably be landing soon. He couldn't fly very well while drunk.
Sehanine - talent with the bow.Hanali - sexual prowess.
Aerdrie - wings.
Corellon - touch of the divine.
Erevan - Gift of Tongues"
"Who's, like, next?" asked Aerdrie.
