"Err... right," Tsubasa replied. "Sorry about that." The streetlamp would have bowed except that such an action was impossible for it.
With the apology given, the crowd began to disperse, though they were careful to give a wide berth to the three.
"Just who is Ukyou?" Ranma asked aloud, though more in an attempt to jog her own memory. 'Ukyou... where have I heard that name before?'
With both girls staring at it, looking for some sort of answer as to why it had suddenly latched onto some random girl, the streetlamp responded, "Ukyou is... my fiancee! Yeah, that's it!" Eyes downcast, Tsubasa continued, "We were destined to be together; but then one day she disappeared! For months I've been looking for my dear Ukyou, hoping that we can one day be reunited...."
When looking up to see if the sob story had garnered any sort of sympathy from the two, Tsubasa instead saw Ranma and Kurumi conversing amongst themselves, backs facing him.
"I wonder if this sort of thing happens to Ukyou all the time?"
"I feel her pain," Kurumi commented, shuddering at the 'affection' she been on the receiving end of just a few moments prior.
"What sort of person hugs every girl that approaches him?
"A perverted groper."
Hand rubbing her chin in thought, Ranma said, "You know, maybe Ukyou's just some imaginary character that he thought up of and uses as an excuse to grab onto any girl that passes by."
All of a sudden Tsubasa popped up right before them, eyes wide and waving its arms frantically. "Were you guys listening to even a word I said?!"
