"That DOES it!" she screeched in a high-pitched voice. "That does it!"
"Ranma..." Akane started softly.
"Oh no!" Ranma snapped. "Not this time! You started this!"
Akane's brow furrowed and she started to open her mouth again.
"Don't even start!" Ranma snapped.
"Leave Akane alone, Ranma!" Ryouga shouted, only to receive a roundhouse slap across the face.
It hadn't been a feminine gesture at all, merely an expression of such anger and disgust that Ryouga felt himself stopped.
"Look at me!" Ranma snapped. "Look. At. Me!!!"
She flexed her hands and her tail swished behind her. Her ears lay back flat against her skull as she hissed and sputtered.
"It only serves you right," Mousse said, huffing and crossing his arms.
"Serves me right?!" Ranma shouted as she advanced on the blind duck. "Serves me RIGHT!? All I was trying to do was get Shampoo a cure to her damn curse!! How does that make me deserve th...th...THIS!!?"
She gestured to herself.
"What, you didn't think I was freakish enough before?" Ranma demanded angrily of the group.
She looked about at them all. Kodachi was just staring in shock at her. Ukyou hadn't opened her mouth yet, and looked like she was about to bolt, she'd never seen Ranma this mad before. Akane still looked to be vacillating between apology and righteous anger. Ryouga was still shocked from the slap and deciding to keep his mouth closed as well for the moment. Mousse took a few steps back from the approaching red-head and swallowed nervously at the feeling of the anger pressing at him. Shampoo seemed smug, but Ranma would have to disabuse her of that emotion fairly soon. And Kuno was about to say something...
"Fear not fair pig-tailed girl," Kuno declared. "I shall find where the blackguard has fled to and force from him the cure for your..."
Kuno didn't seem to be paying attention to his sister's uncharacteristcally silent attempts to get him to shut up. She had her hand half-raised and was whispering urgent comments for him to be quiet. Kodachi, it seemed, had been paying more attention than her brother and hadn't missed the change this time.
"Shut up!" Ranma yelled, actually managing to quiet the samurai with the force of the yell. "I wasn't born as a girl! I don't want to be a girl! I don't like being a girl! I'm NOT supposed to be a girl!!! I wouldn't worse this on my worst enemy!!! BUT AT LEAST I WAS HUMAN UNTIL NOW!!!!"
She glared at them all as her breath came in great heaving gulps.
"It took me MONTHS to get to where being a girl was TOLERABLE!" Ranma said. "And now I HAVE to go through all that AGAIN!!! Because of all of you?!"
There was silence.
"Fine," Ranma said. "You want to know what I'm going to do? I'll tell you..."
"Akane should not interfere in..." Shampoo started. She was interrupted by stone smacking into her forehead. She wheeled back and glared around for the culprit only to see Ranma glaring back at her.
"Oh, as if you're any better," Ranma said. "I said I wouldn't wish this curse on my worst enemy! So what makes YOU think me wanting to get you a cure proves I love! If I loved as much as you wanted! I would have been LOOKING for the cure, not just buying cause I happened by it! You're just the old ghoul in training, a bigoted, superior, jackass."
"Uh..." Ukyou said, realizing that probably meant that she was next.
"And you're supposed to be my friend!" Ranma shouted. "
