"Ameythst? What do you want?" Asuka asked, toucing Misato's hand by placing her palm flat against the wall.
Even through the reddish-purpule wall, Asuka could see a wry grin on Misato's face.
"That's easy, Ruby. I came to see how my sisters are doing."
Asuka flinched at her genie name and thought, 'Right. We have to call Shinji 'Master' when we are in private and when we are in our gems....'
Misato saw the flinch and nodded. "Ruby? Do you want to be human again?"
At that question, Asuka shuddered in disgust and replied, "Human? If I was human again, I'd....."
Asuka trailed off and stared at the floor.
"That's what I thought. Shinji's wish is for a lack of a better term reprogramming us. We might not like being genies or slaves, but....."
Asuka looked up and into Misato's eyes. "You called me sister."
"Aren't you? Isn't Sapphire also our sister? We are bound into the same ring and serve the same master."
Asuka glanced over at the purpule wall that bordered her cage. "I'm the sister of the wind-up doll?"
Misato nodded, "Yes, Ruby. Sapphire is our sister. We might not have had the same parents, but this situation has turned us into siblings."
Misato removed her hand from Asuka's. "I see you have a lot to think about, so I'll leave you be."
Misato stepped back and fully reentered her cage. Asuka stared through the wall and saw that Misato had furnished her 'home' to look like her aprtment for the most part. Asuka let her hand drop and turned around.
"I guess I should decorate. This is my 'home' after all."

Rei(Sapphire) looked around her blue cage and sat on the ground.
"I do not know what I should do. Master Shinji wished that we should think of ways that we are better off being genies than what we were."
Rei stared at the ground. "I was once human. Now, I am a genie. A magical wish granting robot. The only change I can see is who I serve. I now serve Master Shinji. I do have more powers that can be used at my master's request."
Rei looked up at the 'sky'. "Master Shinji should make wishes and command us more. We exist to serve."
