"I got out @#$@in' fine," Lydia whispered dropping in to join them in their hiding spot. "Come on." She "spoke" the last in a gesture and started stalking down a hall.
"Wait," Moisha said. "Isn't the exit the other way?"
"While the leprechauns are busy we're getting Zero's money," Lydia said.
"And what then, back to Gothwrain?" Romeo asked.
"#%$& no!" Lydia said. "He had us set up the whole time! I'm going freelance, and you two are coming with me."
"We are?" Romeo repeated.
"So like, where are we going then?" Moisha asked.
"Remember when that little leprechaun &!$@# told Brianna they were going to get rid of a lot of impure gold?" Lydia asked. "We're going to the store room and gettin' our gear and then..."
"Don't tell me," Romeo said.
"We're digging around the trash," Lydia confirmed.

"The intruder be gone away," the leprechuan declared. "Of all the days for this to happen, Vaultron have to be away protecting his highness."
"Where are the rats?" another asked. "I don't aim to be the one to tell Princess O'Lura that one got away."
"Their gear be gone and no trace be found," a third said.
"Wait a minute, what the trash is gone," a fourth noted.
"You don't mean that impure stuff..." the first said.
"Well, one man's trash be another's treasure I guess," the second said.

"They refused to come along, Master," Kodachi said ashamedly. "They did not want to work with someone that used thralls."
"That's unfortunate," Brendan said. "They could have been useful. Did you kill them?"
"No, they escaped," Kodachi said.
Brendan frowned for a moment before slapping her with the back of his hand. Kodachi reeled backward into the wall and nearly lost her balance. She caught herself and bowed low before Brendan in abject humility.
"No matter," Brendan said. "They're unlikely to cause a problem. Time for the next phase..."
