"So you've been tracking me since the day I vanished?"
"When we confirmed you were gone after dinner rolled around, and we called most everyone who knew you we realized something was up. So I was forcefull volunteered to find you." He shakes his head, "I would have gone and looked for ya anyway, dunno why they had to kick me outta the Dojo."
Nabiki had to chuckle, although it was a depressed one. "Daddy can be, impulsive."
Ranma gently laid a hand atop hers. "Enough about back home, I wanna know how your doing. Everything else isn't important."
Nabiki squeexed his hand and smiled geniunely. "Akane was right, when you're not being baka you can be sweety."
Ranma chuckled nervously, "Eh I guess the tomboy ain't so bad either. She wanted to come along and help but your dad refused, and I kinda don't blame him. He had one daughter vanish he didn't want to risk another."
"Even though being with you is much safer than with at home," Nabiki replies somberly. "Bre...'he' could easily just waltz in and get Akane and Kasumi if he wanted." The thought alone made her throat dry and tears begin to well again.
Ranma saw this and pulled her into a hug. "Don't worry Nabiki, they'll be safe, I don't think he'd go after them too. Jetta said he probably took you at random."
"I know but, the thought of him doing what he did to me to my sisters..or other it, it.."
As Nabiki started to cry again Ranma held her, letting her cry. Deep inside it pained him to see Nabiki hurting like this. While he did resent some of her blackmailing him, he knew she did it to support the Dojo, and he came to see her as a big sister.
Family, the only sense of the word he had for years was his Father. When they arrived at the Dojo and events played out he began to feel part of a family living with the Tendos. Kasumi the kind, and gentle big sister, Nabiki the cunning and teasing sister, Akane...well she was tempermental but a good girl at heart. Mr. Tendo he saw as a friend of the family, with the way he could act like his old man he had trouble seeing himas a Father-in-law. Heck even the other in Nerima made up parts of his family in his mind.
Now some bastard had violated one of his family, and he wanted their blood. Even when he fought Saffron he didn't want to kill, and only did so as a last-resort.
But this time he craved to kill the werewolf bastard. He'd avenge Nabiki, but first he wanted to help her cope. He didn't know how he would but he'd do it.
