"It is useless," she said. "This is not a match that your clan would approve of."
"My future is not arranged yet," Ranma said. "Well, not all of it."
"What do you mean? 'not all of it,'" Kyoko asked.
"I'm going to spend my life fighting, that's for sure," Ranma said.
"Oh, yes, of course," Kyoko said, wondering if he meant something more.
"I'm sure I can get my father to accept this," Ranma said, showing more of his incredible will and confidence. "Everything will be fine."
