The Wrath of Wolves: Of Dragons and Vampires [Episode 68430]

by Red Priest of the 17th Order

"First? You mean last. You're not about to get out of here alive," Fauntleroy said, as he cracked his knuckles. He was sitting on some sort of throne made of quartz and was looking pretty irked.

Standing from his throne, Fauntleroy crossed his arms over his chest and frowned. "After all, no one invades my home and gets away with it."

Fauntleroy's wives stood at either side of him. Being turned into full-fledged Dragons, the former-Wyrm and former-Drake were more properly suited to the role of being bodyguards to their husband.

Even as he was casting a spell, Theo was ever the level-headed one. "Questing Dragon. We mean not to intrude on your lair. We are simply trying to rescue some friends of ours."

"Oh, that excuses everything," Fauntleroy said sarcastically. He unfolded his arms and motioned around him. "Do you see any of your friends here?"

Inu-Yasha frowned. Great. A dragon. Inu-Yasha had already faced one before, as to help the Testusaiga become lighter in weight. Ryukossei, a greater dragon that his father once battled and that the injuries his father sustained from that battle were what lead to his death. Ryukossei was truly powerful and his hide was stronger than anything Inu-Yasha has faced before.

Still, this Dragon was in a human form. And if he stayed that way, it would be MUCH easier to tear him asunder.

Ranma frowned as well. He could feel the power and levels of ki that this 'dragon' held. It unnerved him to how similar it was to Herb's, and worse, his was much more powerful and refined. Hell, compared to this new guy, Herb was no stronger than Hikaru Gosunkugi! Oh, this was to lead to a fight.

Still before, any fighting could starts, Fauntleroy's wife, #6, shrieked in fear as she looked at Julia. "IT'S THE ARMSMASTER!!! WAAAAAAAA!!!"

Fauntleroy placed asteady hand on the former-Drake's shoulder. "Relax, there's no need to fear here. You're a dragon now, and much more powerful than that simple mortal."

Frowning a little, Julia simply stated, "I am no simple mortal."

Brianna was also a little pissed to see Fauntleroy here. It had not been too long ago that Brianna and Gina had crossed paths with that double-crossing, back-stabbing, yellow-bellied gold dragon at Dreadwing's laid. He had stolen something from Dreadwing's Mymior, and Brianna still wasn't sure what it was, but she knew it had to be important.

Following her gut-instinct, Brianna pointed her weapon at the Questing Dragon, "All right, Fauntleroy, what is your connection to Brendan!?"

Fauntleroy blinked his eyes once, then twice. "What are you talking about?"

"Please, don't try to lie your way out of this one!" Brianna snapped. "You obviously set up a trap for us! What did that bastard promise you in return? A chance to get back at us?"

Now, Fauntleroy was genuinely curious. "My dear Diggers brat, I must honestly say that I've no clue what utter nonsense you're babbling about!"

"YEAH, RIGHT," Brianna snapped as she aimed her weapon wight for Fauntleroy's head. "I'm not going to let you trick us again!"

While most were taking Brianna's qur and readied for battle, Theo dropped his teleportation spell. He placed his hand on Brianna's shoulder, starling his daughter. "Brianna, something is wrong here. And it's not because of Fauntleroy."

Brianna looked at Theo seriously. "What do you mean?"

"Think about it," Theo began, "Fauntleroy was obviously not expecting us. He's trying to wear down our strength before we find him by fighting an unnecessary battle."

Fauntleroy found. Someone was trying to use him as a patsy. Oh, hell no! No one used the Questing Dragon and would get away with it. "What fool would dare to think to use me like a puppet!?"

"We're running short of bone dragon supplies." "And Mimi's always a good catch...everybody else is a bonus."

"That would be because of me." Came a female voice. A very feminine figure stepped out of the shadows. A pale woman with long black hair in a ponytail, wearing a black leotard, boots, and covered in strips of cloth in different shades of violet. As she smiled, she showed off the largest set of fangs one could get.

"NATASHA VOLSTOV!" Mimi hissed. The Masters family had always had a rivalry with this vampiress, dating back to the Age of Magic on earth.

"A vampire?" Jetta growled. Werewolves had always had a well-documented ancestral grudge with the vampires.

"Makes sense," Julia muttered, "Dragon caves are usually dark, anulling the fear sunlight unless a hole is made in the cavern.

Fauntleroy snarled as he looked at the Queen of the Vampires. "This is your doing, isn't it, witch!?"

"I DID NO SUCH THING!" Mimi hissed.

Fauntleroy's eye twitched. "I was referring to the vampire, you stupid human girl."

"Oh," Mimi said with a blush. She then frowned. "Still, that's an insult to all witches!"

"This still doesn't explain what the hell is going on," Inu-Yasha commented as he started to withdraw the Testusaiga.

"Simple, doggy, "Natasha began, "We're running short of bone dragon supplies."

"B, bone dragon!?" #6 whimpered in fear.

Natasha nodded her head. "And Mimi's always a good catch..." The vampire stated as she glared at the witch in question. Smiling smugly, she then added, " Everybody else is a bonus."

"And what makes you think we'll just keel over for you, vampire?" Gar growled, summoning his Thunder Edge.

"Oh, simple really," Natasha answered. All around the lair, many different types of undead started to pop up from hiding places. Skeletons, zombies, wraiths, and a few vampires as well. "As you can see I have my 'posse' with me."

"THAT'S IT!!!" Faunttlroy roared. tearing his throne drom the ground it was connected to, he hurled it at Natasha.

However, to get at the vampire, the chair had to go through the Diggers and their allies. This lead to everyone scattering as the thone was sent their way.

Of course, Natasha was able to evade the stone chair, which then broke into many pieces upon smashing into the ground where she had been standing prieveously. She looked around and saw that the Diggers were scattered about. "HEY! Don't touch the Diggers, dragon! They owe me!"

Getting back to her Julia growled and glared at Natasha. "Just how the hell do we OWE you, fangy?"

Natasha's eye twitched as she glared at the Armsmaster of Jade. "Did you just call me Fangy!?!?"

"You heard me, Cobweb Crouch," Julia snapped back. No one was going to try to push around her family.

"ALL OF YOU, GET THE HELL OUT OF MY HOME!" Fauntleroy roared at the top of his lung. Obviously, he was pissed, andthe side he was taking was his own. "WIVES, TAKE CARE OF THE VAMPIRE BITCH'S HORDES," Fauntleroy snarled out, "Leave the Kryn to me. We have unfinished business..."

Gar looked over to Stryyp. "Geeze, aren't you the popular one?"

"Hey, you there, wraiths, target those dragons!" Natasha commanded. "Skeletons, Vampires, target those NOT of the Diggers family." Natasha hissed. "Leave the Masters WITCH to me!"

Looking around, Brianna could only grin. "I smell a free-for-all..."

(------)

There was a birst of smoke outside the Diggers mansion. The thralls had arrived thanks to Selena. However, there was another werewolf amongst their ranks. One of the wolves that Brendan had managed to coerce into helping him.

"So, this is the target, right?" The werewolf asked.

"Yes," Danielle said. "This is the Diggers mansion."

"Shall we get this over and done with now?" Kodachi asked. "I'd like to succeed in a mission to get back into Master's good graces."

"Honey, so do the rest of us," Selina answered, puffing a cigarette. "So do the rest of us."

Meanwhile, inside, the group was readied. They were preapred to fight. Luan looked over at Mimi's 'surprise'. "Are you ready to fight?"

The 'surprise' just smirked. "I'm ready and willing,"
