"Great Penny," Gina said. "We're almost set here. We're just waiting on one more person before they all go to beat the snot of this jerk."
"Who's that?" Penny asked. The intercom sparked to life then with Brittany's voice.
"You geniuses got them nailed down yet?" Brit demanded. "Mimi's here."
"Mimi Masters!" Penny said. "I guess you told her about her sister."
"Yeah, she brought a surprise alo..." Brittany said. "Wait, Penny what are you doing there? I thought you had a bunker of your own."
"I'm on the communicator, Brit," Penny said. "What's the surprise?"
"Something to help us 'targets' stay a little safer," Brit said irritably.
"Don't dwell on it Brit," Penny said. "You don't see me complaining about being driven out of my house, do you?"
"Anyway, the timing's perfect," Gina said. "Penny download me those coordinates. Bri, Penny's got them tracked down! Head back to the mansion!"
"Sheesh, it's only two miles!" Brianna reminded her as she started down the tunnels connecting Gina's lab under her house to her parent's mansion further away.
"Bri's on her way, Brit," Gina said. "And here come the coordinates. Have Jetta or the Ranma guy talked to Nabiki about leaving for safety?"
"I thought you'd slip in that subject," Brittany said. "I'm staying on Earth at least, Gina. You are too, so don't give me any crap back!"
"Brit, oh whatever," Gina sighed reluctantly. "What about Nabiki though?"
"Jetta's going to talk to her," Brit said. "I'm gone."
The intercom clicked out.
"Hmmm," Gina said. "Here, that Genn? Brittany's staying on."
"I heard," Genn said behind Gina.
"Dao," Gina asked. "Did Bri give you those command codes?"
"Yes, Gina," Dao said.
"Then get started," Gina said. "Sorry, Brit, can't let you stay. Send in the peebo-mag."
"Right, Gina," Dao said.

"I'm sorry I took so long," Mimi said grimmly. "I would have teleported, but I have feeling I'll need the components for battle."
"That's a good guess," Theo said resignedly. "Mimi, this is Thabian, husband to the leader of the werewolf clan."
"Greetings," Mimi said politely. "I'm pleased to see you taking some responsibility for this."
"He was one of us," Thabian said.
"Gina and Penny got them tracked down," Brittany said, strolling out onto the field. "Her are the coordinates."
Theo paused a moment to look over his daughter, but said nothing.
"Good," Theo said. "Brittany, Jetta should have spoken to Nabiki by now, get her too Gina's lab."
"All right, dad," Brittany said, nodding. Julia blinked a moment and looked to the werecheetah then.
"That was the first time she didn't declare she wasn't leav..." Julia was thinking for a moment before a thought came to mind along with a smirk. "Good move, Gina."
Mimi's "surprise" sat off to the side, in the shade of some trees.

"I'll get you guys for this!" Brittany screamed as she was floated down the hall via peebo-mag.
"Remember this isn't just your life your risking," Strype said sadly. Brittany slumped forward in mid-air and nodded, before snapping her head up and giving a rebuttal.
"You're still sleeping on the couch buster! And you and Bri better not be expecting Christmas gifts, Gina!" Brittany was yelling.
"We'll take good care of her, Prince Strype," Archon assured them all as the ranting werecat was carried by Brianna's peebo through the gate. "Do not be concerned."
"And you and that kid of yours, Dao!" Brit continued.
"Your turn, Nabiki," Jetta said. "You'll be safe over there for the time."
"I don't want to leave..." Nabiki said faintly. "Why can't you or Ranma come with me."
"Because we're both going to be fighting," Jetta said, walking Nabiki to the gate. "You're going to be quite tall when you're fully grown, you know."
"Thanks," Nabiki said uncertainly.
She looked past her stuffed koala towards the cat woman beside the glowing gate thing. Archon smiled kindly and extended her hand.
"Come along, child," she said gently. "We'll keep you safe."
Nabiki nodded and woodenly stepped forward past Archon.
"Closing the gate now," Gina said, waving goodbye to Archon. "Jetta, they're looking for you up at my parents."
"Are you going to be alright done here, alone?" Jetta asked.
"She's not alone," Dao reminded the werewolf. "And I have my full powers when defending her."
"And I've got the same anti-teleportation measures set-up as Penny," Gina said. "Along with my own surprises."
"Then wish us luck," Jetta said as Strype teleported them away.
****
"Everybody ready?" Theo asked.
Ranma cracked his knuckles and nodded as he stepped within the ritual circle. Julia dusted off her armor as she did likewise. Inu-Yasha snorted and stepped forward about the same time as Jetta and Thabian did. Strype and Brianna stepped in next. They were followed by Gar, Mimi and, at last, Theo.
Their faces were all grim as Theo cast the spell and they faded from view.
"I'm surprised you didn't put up more of fuss, Brittany," Mimi's 'surprise' said. "I know I would have."
"Uh, right..." 'Brittany' said. The disguised rakshasha chuckled slightly.

"Master," Selena called out. "It is just like Dani said. They've arrived at the tracker's location!"
"Then it's time to pay the Diggers' mansion a visit," Brendan said, smiling.
****
The recovery team arrived at the tracker's location instants later.
"All right you sack of..." Inu-Yasha paused in his shoutting. "These don't look like werewolves."
"That's because we're not," a voice declared.
"It's a trick!" Brianna declared.
"Theo get us back to the mansion!" Julia declared.
"I'd need to prepare another circle for this large a group!" Theo shouted. "We'll have to fight it out first!"
"First? You mean last. You're not about to get out of here alive,"
