Lillith had, hours before, discharged a huge amount of blood to try and fight the "infection" of the statue.
The "tainted" LCL was now being circulated with all the other LCL available.
One tube leads to the holding tanks of the Evagelions. The tainted liquid, flowing around and in each Unit, recyling with the spirits there cores contain.
Unit 01 "The Devil" has reached critical level, the armor unable to stop the metamorphosis begins to crack, light shinning and steam rising. The cracks spread as a new life is born.
Finally, with a final shattering of armor...
