EVA-Heroes: Flight Theory [Episode 68971]

"Asuka, we do need to talk with. . . everyone else affected. To figure out. . ." Shinji trailed off.

"Corect, I wonder, will we want similar costumes or not?" Rei commented.

"I'm not wearing some stupid costume!" Asuka snarled at Rei.

Rei blinked. "Isn't it required for those with super power to wear costumes?"

"We can settle all that later." Shinji interjected, gesturing feebly. "Right now, Maya's probably somewhere in the clouds, and you’re the one who can go up and find her."

"Do you know how poor the human body's aerodynamics are?" Asuka sighed. "Never mind, Hero stories ignored a ton of the laws of physics, so I shouldn't worry about them myself." She looked down at the ground. "So how do I do this?" she commented thoughtfully.

"Um, you could just try thinking it really hard. . ." Shinji commented uncertainly.

Asuka looked at him, then shrugged. "Fly, I can fly. I am weightless, I am rising." She looked down at her feet, which were still on the ground. "It's not working."

"Um, maybe there's some, energy or force which you. . ." Shinji trailed off.

"I believe most flying hero's wore a cape." Rei interjected. Ignoring Asuka's cold stare she raised one arm straight over her hand. "This was the usual posture they took while flying, and they also started their flights with three running steps and a jump! Plus the chant 'Up Up and. . .' something."

Rolling her eyes and shaking her head, Asuka commented, "Can't hurt, one two three jump." She took a deep breath. Leaning forward, she quickly took three running steps, then with a call of "Up Up and Up." leapt, her right hand outstretched.
