The answer Kain got was a snore... "Snoring?"
Moving up to Rock, Kain studied the boy. Amazingly, the boy was asleep and had his left eye open.
"Sigh... Rocky, Rocky, Rocky..." Kain muttered.
Rock's eye blinked. Kain then recieved a loud series of muffled noises that sounded something similar to, 'Don't call me Rocky! I HATE that name!'
Blinking his eyes once, Kain said, "Very well nephew. Since you cannot seem to make up your mind at the moment, I shall leave the scroll with you and let you come to a decision on your own. Now I really must be off."
With that said, Kain left the scroll on Rock's chest and left the room through the door.
Staring at the scroll with his good eye, Rock genuinly thought about it. Should he try to learn this ability that will allow him to control the power within his blood?
However, unbeknownst to Rock, when Kain had slammed the door closed, a number loosend and was hanging upside down obn the door, so that Rock's room was listed as '16' instead of '19'.
Two surgery attendants came down the hallway with a doctor holding a clipboard and paper. "This is it, room 16."
"I tell you, it takes a lot of guts to donate a kidney." Said one of the attendants.
"Indeed." The doctor said. "Well, let's get the man prepared for surgery."
"Huh? Oh Terry! Mary! What do you two want to talk to me about?"
