Fortunantly, the doctors quickly figured out that Rock was the wrong patient... seeing as the patient in room 816 was female, someone managed to figure it out in time.
So Rock caught a break at last.
Unfortunantly, Rock turned out to be allergic to the anesthesia used, and ended up sick, twitchy, and unable to sleep.
...
What, you actually thought I was going to end this gag now?!
Anyway, Once Rock managed to get enough of his mind working again, he summoned a nurse and managed to convey that he wanted something so he could read that scroll. To hell with his misgivings about Kain's motives... if he stayed in this hospital much longer, he would die!!
Then the nurse came in with a stand, tripped, and accidentally threw the stand. This wouldn't have mattered so much, except it got tangled with Rock's IV cords, and ripped them out. Rock immediately went back into shock.
And the doctors wept... their hospital was going to be shut down for this, they just knew it...
