“... So that’s what happened,” Ranma concluded with a feeling of amazement. It was quite an unusual event to be able to tell his side of the story without interuption. However some of the people who tended to leap to conclusions like Superman over tall buildings happened to be happily grooming their new fur. Many of the others were up for sale at the Furries 4 U pet store. As for the rest: “so what’s your story?”
Kasumi shifted her wings and glanced at the cage sitting on the table. Inside were a brown hamster that was crying alot and a black-and-white hamster holding up a cute little sign reading, “this is all your fault, Boy!” Nabiki had joined the bunny, the bitch, the skunk on the porch and was licking her fur.
“Your father and Mister Tendo were returned by courier after they tried to break into a magik shoppe,” a six-inch-high Nodoka sighed forlornly from on top of Kasumi’s head. “Apparently Nabiki was given an enchanted candy bar, a Kit-Kat, from another store by a boy from school. He then tried to collar her but just ended up scratched. As for Kasumi and I ... well we found this nice coffee shoppe with a nasty surprise. Kasumi had the Angel Food Cake and I had the Faerie Cake.” Her ghosamer wings fluttered behind her. “I guess that it could have been worse. They also had Devils’ Food Cake, Chocholate Moose, Black Forest Cake, Death by Chocolate and Bomb Alaskan for sale. Among others.”
“Don't eat at the new shops,” Ranma noted to himself, “check. In fact, I’m not going anywhere near them again.”
Hamta-Genma held up a sign reading, “what about us, <flip> you ungrateful <flip> brat!”
“Yeah, right,” Ranma snorted and poked the cage. “I came back with a new curse (not that it’s a bad one) and three ‘pets’. And look at you! I’m not going to push my luck. No way!”
“Four pets,” Nodoka-belle corrected with a meaningful look at Nabi-kitty.
“Oh, yes. Isn’t it lucky I brought extra petfood for Akane,” Kasumi said angelically.
“Yeah, real lucky,” Ranma smirked snidely, as Nabiki was too busy lapping milk out of a bowl to do her ussual smirk snidely thing.
“In any case, this solves your fiancee problems,” Kasumi concluded. “According to these papers, Akane and her friends are legally domestic pets, somehow, so you can’t marry any of them. No fiancees, no problems.” She sighed sadly for her little sister who was Doomed to be a pet, but at least she was happy about it.
“There is still one Tendo daughter available,” Nodoka said meaningfully.
Kasumi looked at the new, big, hunky Ranma and blushed angelically. “Oh, my. Yes!”
Ranma blinked and considered. Kasumi was very nice and there was no one left, suitor or rival, to threaten her.&nbps; “Okay then,” he agreed. “I guess we’re engaged, then.”
Nodoka smiled mischeiviously. Her manly son now had a lovely fiancee and four sexpets to play with. And if he proved too ... shy to take advantage of the fact, she had discovered that faerie dust had some iteresting effects. All in all it was a happy ending.
Meanwhile, cue the ominous music as ...
