Wild Aura: Spilling One's Guts... Clean up in Aisle Four! [Episode 69410]

by Red Priest of the 17th Order

Dao sighed. There was no point in hiding it any longer. "Ok, ok I give, I give," Dao said as he threw his arms up into the air. He looked across the five Diggers gathered seriously. "But you might want to sit down before hearing this."

Seeing none of the Diggers moving to get a seat, Dao sweat-dropped. "I see you're not going to fall for that one, eh?" Seeing them shake their heads, Dao spoke out, "Well, you really might need to sit down. Because what I have to say may shock you all to your very core."

Seeing the Diggers still staring at him, standing there to corner him, Dao groaned. "I'm not kidding, okay? Just get some frikin' seats!"

"Computer," Gina spoke out, and the sounds of whirrings and lickc followed. "Five chairs, please."

Dao watched as five chairs formed from the floor to give the Diggers family something to sit on... And still corner him like a rat in a trap.

"Now Dao," Julia spoke with a hard edge to her voice, "What do you know about Ranma? Where is he?"

"Okay, to answer the simplier question fist, Ranma is in Japan!" Dao squeaked out.

"JAPAN!?" All five Diggers asked at once.

Gina looked at Dao seriously. "Is he seeing that Japanese fighter that knows Ryan... You know, what's her name!"

"Ayane Anno," Julia corrected her daughter. She had rather liked 'the Mistress' of WCE. She was a good fighter, and a genuine friend to Julia's student, Luan.

Though Theo did not voice his concerns, he was worried about the reason Ranma was in Japan. Theo knew that the wererats had a base in Japan somewhere. He hoped his son wasn't doing something reckless, like trying to find Gothwrain on his own.

"Dao, do you have a clue as to why Ranma is there?" Brianna asked,w hich happened to be the question on everyone's mind at the moment.

"He's helping a friend," Dao said simply. "A girl who had once been part of himself."

"Excuse me?" Britanny asked. "What do you mean a girl that was once part of Ranma?"

Sighing, Dao shook head head. "I don't want any confusion, so I'm going to be blunt. Ranma is not supposed to exist among you."

"Excuse me?" Gina asked. "What do you mean my twin isn't supposed to exist among us? Is he supposed to be off on a journey or something?"

"No, he just wasn't supposed to be born as your twin, Gina," Dao answered seriously. "He was supposed to have been born as the son to a Genma and Nodoka Saotome. But, it was wished that Ranma Saotome would be changed so that his problems would be largely if not totally annulled."

Dao wiped at his bro for a moment, to avoid looking at the stares from the Diggers. "A lot of his problems were teh result of his father. His father literally took Ranma on a decade long training trip. During that time, Ranma was malnourished, put through mental and physical trauma, denied an education and friends, and he was given multiple fiancees, because his father would sell him off and take the girls dowry."

Dao looked back at the Diggers. Hmm... Their jaws were dropped considerably. Perhaps he could try to run while the getting was-

"Wait!" Gina said, managing to gain her wits. "You mean my brother's life was hell under some dumb bastard?"

"More or less," Dao answered cautiously.

"Does Ranma know any of this?" Julia asked with a fearful voice, afraid her son might not be the person she thought he was.

"No, Ranma doesn't know the full truth," Dao said, "Only the person who made the wish would know the truth and see the effects on reality."

"Wait, I'm confused," Britanny admitted. "Woudln't that be Ranma, of he made the wish."

"No, it wasn't Ranma," Dao admitted. "You see, while he was indeed the one who had gotten ahold of a special lamp that belonged to a recent recruit to the Djinni race in the first place, he had paid a friend of his to make the wish for him, since Ranma wasn't good with words. And because she made the wish for Ranma, she is the one to retain the knowledge of what had happened."

"Dao, how do you know all this?" Theo asked in amazement.

"Simple. The magic on reality-changing/threatening wishes our kind cause, doesn't effect us personally, but in a way, 'updates' us and gives us the knowledge on teh changes. That is why Madrid knew the truth as well," Dao explained.

"So, the whole world was changed by a wish, and not even Ranma knew?" Theo asked, just to make sure he understaood this clearly.

"Correct!" Dao said. "And it seems, life has taken a few turns, which are causing Ranma to return to meet the people of his 'previous life' so-to-speak. So he's now interacting with the for the first time, and it might not be all that safe for him there."

"If you knew it could be dangerous for him, why let him go?" Julia asked with a sligth growl.

"Because Ranma was very adamant about seeing his friend," Dao said in a huff. "Besides, if I tried to hold him back, adn he'd know the truth, and pit simply, 'HE CAN'T HAND THE TRUTH'!"

Julia frowned and wrapped her arms over her chest. "Well, personally, I don't care what the heck has been going on. I know I gave birth to Ranma, and he's my son."

"Yeah! I grew up with Ranma! He's my twin, and at times I really know what he's thinking," Gina said in all seriousness.

"He's my brother too!" Britanny stated.

"Yeah! He's my bro as well!" Brianna piped in.

"And I still see Ranma as my son," Theo said, his Flaming Skull Head having calmed down back to his regular head. "As you can see Dao, while we do find this odd, we still see Ranma as family. And we will help him as best we can."

"So please, where in Japan is he?" Gina asked.

Dao nodded his head. He could se these people were serious.
