„Airen take Shampoo to date, yes?”
Ranma just groaned as the bicycle still pressed his head firmly to the sidewalk. The steps of a mecha were just the sign of more problems. He knew exactly what and whose mecha it was.
“LEAVE RANCHAN ALONE YOU AMAZON HUSSY!” he could hear from the speakers of Ukyo’s Mad Cat.
The sheer volume of the speakers was enough to give Ranma a massive headache. He hated when that happened even. He instantly knew the reaction of the Amazon cyborg-catgirl as the felt the tires grinding into his back. And he felt the heat of the Mad Cat’s lasers, giving Shampoo a reason to flee.
Ranma just waited for the foot of the Mad Cat to press him further into the sidewalk. He was just grateful for that stone-skin enchantment for his clothing. It took most of the damage. So he was positive surprised when the foot missed him by some centimeters. He peeled himself of the sidewalk and just caught the sight of Shampoos battle-sensors popping up and the light Gauss of Ukyo’s Mad Cat charging up.
He sprinted down the road towards the Tendo Dojo. He never wanted to be caught in one of the Ukyo-Shampoo fights. They usually ended in most of the Mad Cats armor destroyed and Shampoo unhappy until her limbs were reattached or completely reconstructed by Cologne.
“Problems, Saotome?” Nabiki asked as she faded into sight.
The fading and reappearing of Nabiki gave Ranma the willies. He never was able to sense any use of magic, for cloaking spells, or ki, for the Umi-Sen-Ken, when she did that. She was clothed in the female standard outfit for a Ghost, her big rifle hanging over her shoulder. He had seen what happened to one of Nabiki’s dummies and he didn’t want to be on the receiving end of it.
“How many do you pay when I don’t tell Akane, that you ‘flirted’ with that Cyborg?”
Ranma groaned. Sometimes he had the feeling that Nabiki stalked him. He took out his small Bag of Holding and searched around in it. Than he found some gems, he had left from a tomb raid a few week’s ago. Hey, you needed to go tomb-raiding to meet Nabiki’s ‘needs’ for money. Nabiki smiled as she took the gems and faded from sight.
As Ranma finally arrived at the Dojo, he could hear the explosion from the standard Ukyo-Shampoo battle and some shuttles flying to the battlefield for the cleanup after the battle. He never understood why the government of Japan never did anything against this nearly anarchistic Status Quo of Nerima.
He opened the door to the Tendos house, kicked of his shoes and went towards the Dojo to let of some steam. On his way there he shook his head at Soun and Silent Genma, who were stoned, again. He opened the Dojo and was greeted with the sight of Kasumi traning with her light saber.
