Ranma's Universe: Streetwise [Episode 6999]

High above the planet of Nookiene, a flash of light announced the arrival of a starship. The infamous Swordbreaker immediately headed for the surface, Mos Ecchi's spaceport to be exact.

On the bridge, Ranma sat on the captain's seat. At Canal's urging/pleading, Ranma had put on his trouble contractor clothes (and yes, even the cape !) and even wore the psychoblade at his belt. It had been frustrating at first but Ranma finally managed to make the ship jump by channeling his ki in that psychodrive thingy. From what Canal told him, it was way better than an hyperdrive since travel occured instantaneously. Only a few people could use it however.

"Why are we here again ?"

"I told you, Master. Mos Ecchi is one of the worst dens of thieves, pirates, bounty hunters and criminals in the known galaxy. Surely the rebellion is forced to deal with such people to get weapons and supplies for their cause"

"Okay, that sounds logical... I think" Ranma had a BAAAD feeling about this.

Hours later, Ranma and Canal were in a bar, waiting for a well-known information broker. An incident with two drunk aliens, their lack of respect for Canal and the following beating at Ranma's hands had convinced the usual clientele to give some space to the newcomers. Canal's reaction after that had been to glomp her master and demonstrate her gratitude. Ranma had yet to pry her off his left arm.

"Are you Saotome ?"

Sighing in relief at the interruption, Ranma rose up to look at the person who adressed him and did a double take. It was :
