ATDV: Akane vs Death, round one, fight-o! [Episode 70243]

"EXCUSE ME?" Death asked. "YOU'RE GOING TO CHALLENGE ME? YOU ARE OFFERING TO TAKE THE PLACE OF HAPPOSAI?"

"Akane, I really don't think this is a good idea," said Nabiki.

"No, Akane. Let the nice Mister Death take Master Happosai," suggested Soun sweetly.

"That a girl, Akane! Well, I got to be going," said Happosai as he backed away.

"I'll make you pay for taking Mother," said Akane, leaping into the fray.

"DEATH NEVER LOSES," said Death. "IT'S ONE OF THOSE INEVITABILITY THINGS.

• Against all reason and logic, Akane wins! Death takes a vacation and appoints Akane the new Death.
• Death wins. Akane is taken to visit her mother before final destinations are reached.
• Death wins, but it was not Akane's time so she survives.
• Ranma comes to Akane's rescue. Death is sufficiently impressed that he gives Ranma a job.
• Death beats Akane and then goes after Happosai.
• Something more creative?
