"Okay," Haruka said slowly, "and this will accomplish what, exactly?"
"Well, getting your attention, I hope," Jadite said, frowning as the tire took on an ominous red glow. "Anyway. It occurs to me now that these pod people are going to make life difficult for the youma. I mean, think about it, they have really really weak life energy! How are we supposed to drain that? So, I propose that we work together to rid ourselves of the menace of these impostors."
"That's really nice and all, I guess," Minako said cooly, "but really, you're forgetting the fact that we, uh, don't want to work with you."
"Why not?" Jadite whined. "I try to be lovable! AH! I know what it is!" Somehow, without moving the tire, Jadite tore off his business-suit-like outfit, leaving him clad in a short skirt similar in design to the senshi. "There, see? I'm just like you now!"
"AAAAAAUGH!" Minako wailed, thrashing around and releasing the steering wheel. "My eyes! My eyes! Venusmobile, VENGEANCE!"
"Eh?" Jadite noised, just before the previously-blasted-off trunk lid slammed down onto him, causing he and the spare tire to get tangled in the combination of odd tools that Setsuna had left in the trunk. The car gave an unsettling lurch as a steam catapult whirred to life and flung Jadeite off the road, towards Tokyo Tower. "Whhyyyyy meeeeeeeeee....?" he cried, vanishing into the distance.
"There, there," Hikaru comforted Minako, hugging the sobbing blonde tight and patting her on the back. "It'll be okay."
"Um," Haruka noised. "What was that?"
"Chapter 7, section 0, part 3, annex 0, page 1. Um.... 'I always knew that would come in handy. You owe me one,'" Michiru quoted faithfully.
"Great," Haruka drawled. "Anything else?"
"'P.S. Watch the freaking road!'"
