Weredemons though created through the same process did not count as magically augmented humans. Thay would be classified as as augmented breed of tiefling, a half demon.
Thusly Ranmas transformed state was capable of sprouting large bat-like wings, possessed horns in addition to a werecheetahs natral weapons ( which seemed exagerated in Ranma ) and a deep red gold coat.
As the offspring of a werecheetah and a werebalor Ranma had many powers in addition to his werecheetah speed and senses. He was possessed of the immunities and powers common to all demons with further powers to cause fear on touch, sense magic and levitate. The ability to produce flame sadly wasn't in his arsenal despite his heritage.
