No sounds of children playing happily on the street.
No birds chirping their stupid little hearts out in the trees.
No cars. No ice cream trucks. Not even Shampoo's bike bell..
It was rather eerie, now that she finally realized the change.
Where did everybody go?
Oh the house looked the same, although there seemed to be things missing. Like shoes, tables, Kasumi, the stove...
"Hello."
The voice was odd, as if the owner's voice was rusty when it came to pronouncing the human vocabulary. But it did sound like a girl's, if one were able to stretch their imagination far enough.
And lo, Akane did look down....
"AAAAAAAAAA!!"
...Thus did she behold the horror. And it was pink. With red eyes.
And swallowing her sister head first.
