Elfguest: Genma's Wish#1 [Episode 71456]

"Gosunkugi? I saw your photo album," said Akane.

Gosunkugi panicked. He had a darn good reason.

Akane smiled nicely. "Panty shots? Pictures taken from the furo window of me bathing? Pictures from the window of me changing clothes?"

Gosunkugi whimpered in the back of his throat. Akane yelling would have been better. It would have meant he'd get out of here just being punted like a soccer ball. Akane was talking in a calm, perfectly reasonable tone. There was only one conclusion to draw from this.

Hikaru Gosunkugi started praying with all his heart and soul. Unfortunately, as he was a voodoo afficianado - nobody listened.

"Ahhhhhhh," Happosai proclaimed, slinging his bag of treasure to the side and rubbing his face with a nice silky bra.

He knew they'd be looking for him. They seemed the "hold a grudge" type even though he was just an old man having some harmless fun. Hey, he hadn't even done that much. That one gal should have known better casting that spell that formed a swarm of meteors which blew up two walkways and caused that tower to collapse. Which wouldn't have been so bad if it hadn't hit the tower next to it on its way down. Which knocked over the next tower and so on. One of those towers had all these guys and gals escaping from it after the collapse too. Lots of chaos. Lots of fun!

"What do you mean it's all MY fault?!" Matron Redwidow demanded.

"He appeared in your complex first, right?" The interrogator demanded.

"Well, yes," admitted the Matron.

"The divination spells revealed that his appearance was due to something of your possession," the interrogator pointed out, filing her nails.

"Yes, but.... No! That gnome must have found the DECK!"

"Tsk," said the interrogator. "See - it wasn't that hard."

"But it's not my fault! Those two slavegirls that should have been sacrifices to our Dark Mistress. THEY stole it!"

The interrogator shook her head once. "Your slaves. Your deck. Your problem. Really, you should have let the clerics handle anything dedicated to a foreign deity. Much less a trickery based deity like that gnomish god. So this is a case of a minor house with a major problem."

"I assure the sisterhood that this gnome will be caught and killed, and the slaves recaptured," proclaimed Matron Redwidow.

"That would make a nice start," said the priestess.

The Mercury computer beeped.

"That's odd," said Ami. "That's the fourth major eruption of magic from Nerima in the past two hours."

"Maybe we should investigate?" Minako asked innocently as if the thought of visiting a certain dojo was the furthest thing from her mind.

"I have juku to attend," said Ami.

"Well, darn," said Makoto. "We can always go looking for something going on though? No point in all of us going if we're just looking around."

"I suppose..." Ami said, then looked up to see Minako practically take off at a run while Makoto had a picnic basket she was carrying. "I don't believe they were that upset at the prospect."

"No, I guess not," said Rei, finishing straightening out her outfit. "See you tomorrow, Ami-chan!"

Genma smiled as he used a cup of hot water to return to human. "Since your card didn't have any effect, Soun. I'll draw a couple of cards just to be sure."

"Good idea, Saotome!" Genma drew a card and flipped it over. There was some symbol glowing brightly on it that Genma couldn't make out. A monkey paw in a mirror?

Chosen the first card has been.
One wish granted to Genma Saotome. Speak and it shall be reflected in reality.

Genma grinned and said "I wish that
